Stuff Your Kong

A Kong is a great way to keep your dog entertained. In order to get the most out of these, you should stuff the Kong with food before giving one to your dog. You can even stuff it and freeze it, so it is ready and waiting for your pup, and lasts even longer. Make it messy, as Kongs are dishwasher safe.

Kong Stuffing Ideas:

• Kongsicle—fill with canned food and freeze it, this should last for about an hour! I use one can of food to stuff 4 Kongs at once.

• Pizza crusts

• Peanut Butter mixed with Goldfish Crackers & Cheerios

• Cream Cheese mixed with dry dog food

• Leftover Turkey or Chicken

• Ice Cube—plug the small hole with a dab of peanut butter, fill with water or broth and freeze

• Omelet—scramble egg and veggies. Seal with cream cheese

Make sure the food is cool when you give it to your dog. Sealing with peanut butter or cream cheese and freezing it makes the good stuff last longer.
